Design
The ability to choose size and print options from the digital files gives the designer a lot of flexibility, versus being forced to choose pre-printed artwork. The following are some suggested guidelines:
SIZE:
The following is meant to provide general print size guidelines. The best quality is at 300 dpi, good quality at 150 dpi. Every photo in the Store provides the dimensions in pixels. To obtain suggested print sizes, you divide the dimensions by 300, for best quality and 150 go good quality. Here is an example:
Size: 8,192 x 5,464 would be either 27 x 18 (300 dpi) or 54 x 36 (150 dpi)
300 dpi: 8,192 / 300 = 27 and 5,464 / 300 = 18
150 dpi: 8,192 / 150 = 54 and 5,464 /150 = 36
PRINT:
